Speaking of designing website using  basic web editing software, below are instructions that can be helpful to guide you follow each step to create your web with particular software like Dreamweaver or FrontPage.

First off, select a text editor you desire whether Window’s Notepad, FrontPage or Dreamweaver. The second step regarding the construction for the first page of your website, it is suggested for you to create a head section of your home page. You should take into a note that head section should include a title, meta tag descriptors, and key words.

Descriptors are useful to deliver to your reader about the content of your website, like what it does and what it offers to others. This brief information can be given by writing one or two short sentences specifically describing your website. Third step, add the keywords to the head section using your web editing program. Make sure that the words you select are those frequently used by people in searching for your product or service. Next, to optimize your website, you can make a folder for all files of your website. By saving all files in the same folder, your web editing program will be able to load all of them onto your website at the same time. Usually, the files you want to load to your website will not be loaded properly if those files are not save together.

Last step, after your website is ready, you can publish the website on the internet by uploading the files to server you have previously chosen from Notepad or other web editing program you have.
