Apart from this fact, it is an unfortunate that Twitter capital isn’t located in one of those cities, Twitter is centered in New York.
The given information stated that NetProspex, database marketing and selling company, had published the result of a survey affiliated to the spread of social media in US through Social Business Report. From the report it is found out that the survey conducted involved more than two million people in 200 cities in US. Even Washington DC had lost its position in this big-10 position. Washington DC is now in 12th position right after Dallas.
To estimate the exact calculation, there is a particular method used by NPSI. The calculation of NPSI is derived from the grouping of US employees based on the geographic area of the location of workplaces or offices where they are working. Afterward, the average number of NPSI of those cities is being measured. Meanwhile, from the calculation toward the number of Twitter social network websites employing based on the location, New York is figured out to be the winner.
After NPSI grouped the employee geographically, which is according to the location where they are working, NPSI measured Twitter’s score based on the total number of Twitter accounts, tweet, the number of follower, and the exact number of following. Those numbers are summed to obtain the final score.
Accordingly, from the calculation above, Twitter gained the score for New York at 790, it means Twitter has left San Francisco far behind, San Francisco is only positioned in second grade with the total number of score is 692,10, slightly below New York. On the other hand, San Francisco defeated Washington that comes with only has 220 score. Well, it is proved that New York has a good reason to become Twitter’s capital.
